 STEP 1- MEASURE IT & PLAN 

Measuring your kitchen isn’t hard to do, but it’s important you get it right because your measurements will be the basis for all your planning. Click  here  for your free grid paper to record your dimensions. Here’s how you do it.  (If you need help measuring, just contact our office and we’ll get the measuring done correctly for you).
1. Start by measuring from the floor to the ceiling, then the distance between walls, and from the corners to the doors.
2. Measure each window and their distance from the floor, the ceiling and the corners of your room. Do the same for the doors.
3. Note the position of your drains and water/gas supply. Measure and note the position of existing power outlets and light switches.
Now draw an overhead sketch of your dream kitchen on the grid sheet we’ve provided. Again, your sketch doesn’t have to be perfect, just a reasonably accurate depiction of your design.  There are lots of things to think about, like where to put the fridge, stove/oven and sink etc. Below are the primary types of kitchen layouts and examples of the work triangle to help you draw an overhead sketch and design errors to avoid.

STEP 2- GET AN ESTIMATE AND 3D DESIGN

When you’re satisfied with your planning, drop by your local store to visit our kitchen experts and get an estimate. They will go over your kitchen plan with you, and help you with anything you’re not sure about or just send us an email of your over head plans with measurements and we will provide you with an estimate. ​When you’re ready you can place your order and we will provide you with a free detailed 3D design of your kitchen to help your dreams and ideas take shape before we start fabrication, this will insure that you get a kitchen that works for you to fit your home and your lifestyle. It’s your kitchen after all.
